Archaeology Surveys and Investigations
Active Environmental Services, Inc. will team with partners to conduct surveys and investigations to identify prehistoric and historic archaeological sites, evaluate sites for National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility, and mitigate impact to NRHP eligible sites. Registered archaeologists conduct site surveys at all levels of investigation including due diligence, records review, field reconnaissance and excavation. The methods include Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and Electromagnetic technology (EM) — in order to identify and evaluate cultural resources.
