Spill Prevention, Control & Countermeasure Plans
Have you updated your SPCC Plan lately...?
Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan regulations are designed to prevent petroleum in aboveground storage tanks from entering navigable waters of the United States. SPCC plans are required for businesses that keep more than 1,320 gallons of petroleum, in aboveground storage containers. Active Environmental prepares spread sheets for the client’s personnel to follow. This help the personnel in daily, weekly, or monthly monitoring of the facilities above ground storage tanks, the secondary containment system, and mitigation of petroleum releases. Active Environmental works with the client to develop the SPCC Plan. The plan contains specific methods for preventing, controlling, and mitigating petroleum spills. Active Environmental’s services include developing SPCC plans and working with its clients to implement the plan.
