Active Environmental is accepting resumes for project/field supervisors and field technicians. 

 Candidates for a technician position will have:

• BS or BA in Archaeology / Anthropology or related field;
• An archaeological field school or
• 2 years experience conducting archaeological field investigations;
• Work in adverse weather conditions. 
• Perform physical work such as digging, screening, and walking for a minimum 8-hour work day;
• Timely completion of fieldwork;
• Keep accurate and comprehensive field notes.
Required Skills:
• Strong problem solving skills/experience
• Strong computer skills – Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

 Candidates for a project supervisor position should have the following:

• MS or MA in Archaeology / Anthropology or related field;
• Minimum 2 years experience directing archaeological field investigations;
• Demonstrated skills in performing and supervising others in literature researches, field surveys, National Register evaluations, and report writing;
• Section 106 and NEPA experience required; and
• Work effectively in team situations  

Time management skills are required.
